FUMS 6-Pack 🍻🍻🍻

Hello friends --I'm baaaaaaack!! I JUST got back from a wonderful week in Minnesota - to see my family that I hadn't seen in over 2 years. It was sooo great to see them - but I'm soooo tired now! There was much running around and much celebrating being together. Coming back to work after having been gone for a week makes me question ever taking time off again!! I need a nap!! And that is why this week's 6-pack is late!!Soooo - what's been happening in the world of MS this week??? Here you go:1. Want to hear a good story about an MS diagnosis - and laugh?? Well - listen in on the latest FUMS podcast episode where I interviewed Shari Short - a comedian with MS. We all know there's some funny shit with MS. Here's the link: Shari Short Laughing at MS2. Actress Christina Applegate (one of my very favorite actresses) just joined our special little club! Hate it for her - love it for us. Every time a celebrity gets a diagnosis it brings awareness and research $$$. So - sorry to welcome you Christina - but thanks for the help you'll certainly bring!! Christina and MS3. Back pain is one of many symptoms associated with MS. A variety of treatments may help alleviate your pain. Keep reading to find out what these are and how they may help. Oh My Aching Back4. Anxiety is very common in #MS. While drugs don't cure anxiety, they can help you manage your symptoms, so you can function well and feel better in your day-to-day life. Drugs to Treat Anxiety Disorder5. Multiple sclerosis is characterized by disrupted communication between the brain and the body, resulting in symptoms ranging from blurred vision to muscle weakness and pain. There is no cure for the condition, and therapies have proven difficult, as many have serious side effects. But now, relief may come in the form of a medical marijuana pill. Marijuana Pills and Sprays Ease MS Symptoms6. Feeling moody??? People with multiple sclerosis may experience mood changes. These changes can take many forms, and they have different causes and treatment options.
