L👀k at this: The FUMS 6-Pack🍺

Hey - Soooooo - did you enjoy the 5 little🪺easter eggs/links I hid in last week's 6-Pack?? A TON of you clicked on the links so - I know you found them. I just didn't hear from anyone to know - did you enjoy that?? Want more of that? No - not so much? I'm WIDE OPEN for suggestions. I am in the process of redesigning the FUMSnow.com website AND the FUMS 6-Pack. So this is your chance to sit on my board of advisors. What do you want to see more of? Less of? More emojis/less emojois? Just the facts ma'am - enough of that sassy, smart-assy commentary. Just give us the MS news??  What is truly of value to you? What will keep you coming back every week? What would get you to share the 6-Pack with others? New ideas? Pitch them. The best idea submission (as determined by me - the Great and All Powerful OZ)       will win your choice of FUMS merch. So - hit reply - and share your thoughts!! Want to know what's up in MS this week?? Okie dokie. Here you go:1.  Inflammation. It keeps showing up. Seems to be a pretty significant breadcrumb in the search for answers in MS.  "Obesity promotes molecular signatures associated with more inflammation and MS signaling pathways specifically in females, which may explain the link between obesity and a higher risk of MS in women." Further, . . . "obesity was found to be linked to more severe disease and immune activation in females." 😳  Study may explain link between obesity, higher MS risk in women2.  I stumbled across (see what I did there) a great resource about MS and insurance in the U.S. So natch, I wanted to share it with my FUMS fam. Multiple sclerosis is an expensive disease. Find the information and resources you need to navigate health insurance coverage, from getting covered and using your coverage to appealing decisions. Health Insurance Coverage for MS 3.  SHUT THE FRONT DOOR.🚪 This headline caught my attention! FINALLY - a reason to celebrate having MS!! 🥳  Multiple sclerosis appears to protect against Alzheimer’s disease 🥳4. For the ladies: how many of you are or have been on "the pill"?? Well - have a seat. Now, read this: "Despite its benefits, oral contraceptive use might contribute to the rising incidence of MS among women, potentially due to the influence of sex hormones on the immune system."  Link Between Oral Contraceptive Use and MS Risk5.  My husband just returned to work after a bout with COVID. My daughter had it 2 weeks ago. It is going around!! Arm thyself! There is a brand-new COVID vaccine. And - some good news: COVID Vaccine Won't Trigger MS Relapse6.  In the spirit of protecting yourself (see the previous post ⬆️) - and being stylish - I give you - The FUMS Mask   **order yours TODAY!! 😉
