FUMS 6-Pack 🍻🍻🍻

Hello friends --How's every little thing in your world??  I'm good - finally.  MS made a cold so much worse than just having a cold.  Have you noticed that MS is a jealous disease??  If you're paying attention to something else - oh, say, like - a cold - it will rear up and kick you in the head!!  The cold was just a cold - but the fatigue and cog fog are what REALLY kicked my ass!  Regardless - I'm good now.  Hope you can say the same!🦋  Before I share the top 6 topics in MS this week, I wanted to share an opportunity with you. I started a membership community last Fall to teach people with chronic illness to find and create flexible, remote work that both accommodates their health and generates an income.  It's called Patients Getting Paid.  I created a companion podcast too.  It's called the Patients Getting Paid Podcast (super original, huh??) Part of what I do inside the membership is twice a month Member's Only LIVE Coaching Calls, where I provide coaching to whomever comes to the meeting.  My normal coaching fee is $100 per hour.  If you're a member of PGP, you get those 2 free sessions every month plus a 50% off discount for any 1:1 coaching you may want.  I am throwing out an invitation for anyone with a chronic illness (ahem!) that would like a FREE COACHING SESSION to talk about potential paths to #chronicpreneurism (my term).  It will be recorded and used as a podcast episode.  So - if you have a business that accommodates your health (you're already a chronicpreneur) OR you have no idea what you could possibly do - but are really interested in exploring - I invite you to apply for a FREE COACHING SESSION to be on the PGP Podcast.  Great marketing opportunity if you're already a chronicpreneur.  Great FREE learning opportunity if you're considering a chronicpreneur lifestyle.  If you're interested, just email me and tell me why you want to do this session with me.  Email me here: [email protected]  🦋Let's get to the good stuff:1.  Another FUMS Podcast dropped today.  This one is super personal to me.  It's all about Intermittent Fasting. I have been doing that since January and I cannot believe the difference it has made to my Cog Fog and Fatigue.  It's been life-changing for me - no exaggeration.  I hope you'll listen in right here:  Intermittent Fasting and MS2.  Kids with MS - that breaks my heart.  Treatment with Aubagio (teriflunomide) may significantly reduce the risk of relapse in children with multiple sclerosis (MS), according to a new analysis of the TERIKIDS clinical trial that took into account data from adult trials.  Aubagio May Significantly Lower Relapse Risk in Children With MS3.  Sepsis, a life-threatening response to an infection that can result in tissue damage and organ failure, was reported in nearly one-third of multiple sclerosis (MS) patients admitted to an intensive care unit (ICU), a Texas study found.  Sepsis in MS Is Linked to Longer Hospital Stays, Higher Costs4.  Disturbing:  Sepsis, a life-threatening response to an infection that can result in tissue damage and organ failure, was reported in nearly one-third of multiple sclerosis (MS) patients admitted to an intensive care unit (ICU), a Texas study found. Sepsis in MS Is Linked to Longer Hospital Stays, Higher Costs5.  Before your MS diagnosis - did you experience depression?  How about digestive issues?  These "prodromal" symptoms could have been indicative of the course of your MS.  WHAT?? I know.  Read more here:  Early MS Symptoms May Help Predict Diagnosis, Disease Course6.  Midlife with MS.  'nough said.  Stuck in Midlife and Mid-Multiple SclerosisAnything I can help you with??  Drop me an email and let me know at [email protected] or meet me over in the FUMS Facebook community and let's chat!  Thanks.Warmly -- Kathy#FUMS
