FUMS 6-Pack 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

Hello friends --I hope you enjoyed Mother's Day weekend. We had beautiful weather here in southern Virginia - and my oldest, Maggie Mae, surprised me and came home early! We had a blast all weekend. But now - I'm exhausted - and the week has just begun. Hope you have more energy than I do!!Let's see what going on in the world of MS:1. The latest FUMS Podcast is all about Matt LaFrance, an MS'er who is running 162 miles in six days as part of the 2021 MS Run the US relay team to raise money and awareness for #MS. This is one impressive dude. You can listen right here: Run For All of Us, Matt2. I get this question - or a version of it - almost every single day. This article does a great job explaining the answer: Does MS Always Get Worse??3. Good news: Subtle Medical announced the granting of a U.S. patent for its radiology software that uses artificial intelligence to improve the quality of medical imaging, with the potential to reduce the amount of gadolinium, a contrast agent, needed to one-tenth of its usual dose. Making MRI Scans Safer4. People with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) using approved oral disease-modifying therapies generally tolerate the treatments well, with real-world adverse event profiles similar to those seen in clinical trials, an analysis of U.S. data indicates. Safety of Oral DMT's for RRMS5. Music is my religion. So this first-person article by a fellow MS'ers about mixed tapes made my heart sing. I'd LOVE to hear what songs YOU find uplifting - especially when MS comes a'calling! Here's the article: When In Doubt, Make a Mix Tape6. The folks from Thermapparel joined me on a Facebook Live last week to talk about THE BEST COOLING VEST I've personally ever used. I share my experiences and they talk about the technology. Here's a link: Thermapparel & Kathy Talk UnderCool Vest That's all folks. Hope you got something out of this little newsletter o'mine! Let me know if there is anything I can help you with. Drop me an email and let me know at [email protected] or meet me over in the FUMS Facebook community and let's chat! Thanks.Warmly -- Kathy#FUMS
