I'd love an update - it's been a minute. Just hit "reply" and tell me what's going on with you in your life - and if there's anything I could help you with. Love to hear from you.Okey dokey - let's get on with it, shall we??1. WOW - that's all I have to say about this book by an author who not only has MS herself - but gave her main character MS!! I'll admit - I get a TON of books and manuscripts, etc., sent to me to review so I wasn't expecting much when I opened this one up but boy was I wrong. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Great storyline, very authentic portrayal of life with MS and - BONUS - I called it 50 Shade of MS for a reason!!! 😉 Here's a link to the podcast interview of author Delaney Parker and here's where to get YOUR copy: GRACE2. In a study that surprised literally no one in the MS world, researchers found that many people newly diagnosed with RRMS experience substantial “hidden disabilities,” such as depression or fatigue. Shocking!! Hidden Disabilities3. Taking Copaxone (glatiramer acetate), an approved therapy for relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS), while breastfeeding does not appear to be harmful to infants during their first 18 months, according to a real-life study in Germany called COBRA. (As opposed to the fake shit we do over here. Just kidding. Couldn't resist). Copaxone is Your Breast Friend4. Hey Rituximabers - check this out: With Rituximab, B-cell Counts Predict COVID-19 Vaccine Response5. And, in another twist, here's one more study whose outcome no one (read: everyone with MS) could have predicted: Disease Severity, Brain Changes Linked To Cognitive Decline6. Is there a link between B-cell-depleting therapies, including Rituximab and Ocrevus, and an increased risk of psoriasis?? Maybe - that's why they're doing a study on it!! B-cell-depleting Therapies May Increase Risk of PsoriasisLet's all folks.
